Pictures!

Last week I had tons of time to knit, and I got a lot done. I finished Anouk

I had enough yarn left over that I can make another one! It's so cute, and not difficult at all.

Here's a picture of the red poncho:

I'm wearing it right now.

Now I'm continuing work on the Sitcom Chic cardi and I started the Big Bad Baby Blanket in green Woolease.

Knit Knit Knit

I've gotten to do some knitting lately...I finished the Stitch Diva poncho using Elann Endless Summer yarn in red last night. It looks really good. I may wear it tomorrow :-) I didn't put any beads on it, so I may do that if I find some I like. Pictures soon hopefully.

I got the Cascase Pima Tencel for the Anouk - let me tell you, that is some great yarn. It's so soft, and really easy to work with. I love it! I started with the back half of the Anouk, and I'm working on the shoulders right now. Hopefully I'll have it done before the baby it's meant for is born! Then on to the BBBB #2, in green Woolease.

I also started the Sitcom Chic - after frogging a few rows because I did my M1's wrong (left a big gaping hole underneath), I'm back on track. Maybe 1/4 of the way through the back. It's in white, so it's not exciting, but if I like it, maybe I'll do another in a crazier yarn.

I guess I should do some work. :-(

Some project changes...

I've scrapped Anouk! I decided that the Elann Endless Summer yarn was just the wrong texture for the pinnafore, so I caved and bought the Pima Tencel from helloknitty, since they're having free shipping right now! I'll begin anew when it arrives.

I think I'll use all the Endless Summer yarn to make a tank in the Anouk colors for Ainsley, maybe even with the cute pockets. Otherwise, I have no idea what to do with that yarn! I also have a ton left over from the Stitch Diva poncho in blue, so I don't really know what to do with that, either.

I did start the Sitcom Chic cardi from Knitty.com...I'm using the white Lion Brand Cotton Ease.

Stitch n bitch is tonight - I'm looking forward to some knitting time!

Long time no post

Things have been crazy! Work has been busy, so less time to post there, and home has been even more busy, as we've been looking for a new house. House stuff seriously cuts into my knitting time!

Anyway, I've made some progress. I'm about halfway done putting fringe on Julie's blue poncho, and I did put blue beads on it. The purple bag needs lining, but is otherwise finished. I haven't made much progress on the red poncho, because I've been working on the Anouk. It's cute! I think the next one will be made with the Pima Tencel yarn instead of the Endless Summer - it's just too slippy and thin. But I'm happy with the Anouk - it will make a nice gift.

Yarn sale tomorrow at Got Yarn - 35% off! I've been looking at Baby Stork yarn for the Dale baby romper, so I may get some yarn for that.

Almost time to go home!
