I no longer hate KPPPM, now that I know how to un-hank it. :-) All is well with the world, and I'm now switching between colors C and D on Charlotte. Yay for row 100! I hope to be done soon, because I must confess, I bought a huge honkin hank of Fleece Artist Country Silk to make another. Yum!

No progress on the Spiky poncho, but I'm not sure how much I like that yarn. It is quite fluffy, moreso than I expected. But we'll see. December is approaching, and I have a bunch of babies to knit for as well.

Turns out we're moving in THREE WEEKS (how's that for a quick close?) so I don't know how much time I'll have for knitting, in between packing, switching utilities, scheduling movers, etc. But I will probably start all that next week, so I will enjoy my last weekend for a while of good knitting time.

In fact, I'll go do that right now :-)

Can I just tell you how much I hate KPPPM??? I spent THREE HOURS last night untangling it. I'm sure there's a trick to getting a hank into a nice ball, but I'm stupid and I didn't bother to look in the handy SnB book to check it out. Boy, did I pay for that mistake. Now my beautiful hank of yarn is in 3 goofy-looking balls, and my head still hurts. Considering there are 4 more hanks in Charlotte, I will certainly figure out the trick for gracefully un-hanking yarn! (OK, so I don't hate KPPPM, I'm just dumb.)

UGH!

Anyway, I've also decided not to do the Harlot Poncho pattern. Instead I'll be using the Fuzzygalore Spiky Poncho pattern. It's a big rectangle, so I think I can handle that. Although after the debacle last night, who knows?

SnB meets tonight, and then meetup is tomorrow night! Yay!

The BBBB is done! Time to ship it off to the newborn in Texas. Now I've started the Very Harlot Poncho in Paton's Divine. It's a very fuzzy yarn. Also bulky - I started it last night, and realized quickly it would be too big. So I'll scale it down a bit and work from there. The good news is, it knits up so quickly, I don't feel bad about starting over. I hope I like it, although if not, it's only about $15 wasted.

I also need to start on Charlotte. The problem has been, when I'm knitting, other things are going on, and I get the feeling Charlotte is needy, and requires attention. So we'll see how that goes.

I'll try to take a picture of the Sitcom Chic tonight and add it to all the other pics to the right.
