Sitcom Chic is done! And it actually fits! :-) I steamed it and the edges don't roll as much, but if they really get on my nerves, I'll sew some ribbon to them. For $15, it's not a bad sweater! I did only need 4 balls of cotton ease though, so now i have an extra. Too bad I didn't save my reciept...I need to start doing that. But I guess I can always use white cotton ease. Maybe Ainsley needs a new poncho! :-)

I think I have to rip out the Trendy Scarf in the Checkmate - none of the Ben Franklins around here are carrying that yarn anymore, and I need a little more. I think I'll take it out and make it 1 or 2 stitches skinnier, so it'll be long enough.

Time to finish the BBBB, seeing as how the baby it's meant for is due next week...Next stop - Charlotte and the Very Harlot Poncho!

I was on a business trip this week, so I got a lot of knitting done at the hotel and on the plane. I finished my trendy scarf, and started Shannon's trendy scarf (but I need more yarn for hers). I finished the sleeves on the Sitcom Chic cardi and just joined the body and sleeves today. I've made some progress on the BBBB as well. I hope to have pictures early next week of Ainsley's poncho, and hopefully I'll have time to write out the pattern and post it on here. I'll also write out the pattern for the trendy scarf and post it. My first patterns!

Slowly but surely, I'm knitting away. I finished most of the body of the Sitcom Chic cardi, and have started on the sleeves. Still plugging away at the Big Bad Baby Blanket - I'm on my 3rd and 4th balls of yarn. I finally figured out dimensions for Ainsley's poncho, so I'm about halfway done with one side (it will be 2 rectangles sewn together). I think I'll edge it with Fun Fur.

I ordered yarn for Charlotte - I ended up getting it and the pattern from patternworks.com. It shipped on Thursday, so it should be here soon. I also got Kelly Green Micro yarn from Elann.com for the ChicKnits eyelet cardi, which should also be here soon. Lots of yarn coming in! Yarn makes me happy.

We've had a few additions to the baby-along - keep those pictures coming!
